Trans Youth Advocate Training

Our bespoke learning initiative designed exclusively for organizations, institutions, and workplaces to address (and change) systems that oppress Queer and Trans Youth

Our custom Trans Youth Advocate Training Program combines in-person or virtual presentations, systems assessment and reimagination, and custom resources all tailored to center the LGBTQIA+ students impacted

Participants & institutions who complete training are certified as “Youth OUTright WNC Educated 2026” and “Queer & Trans Safe(r) Space”, designated by our official stickers

Trans Youth Advocate

Training Program participants gain:

  • Updated or new frameworks for upholding inclusive, safe, and affirming standards for engaging with and advocating for queer & trans youth

  • Skills and tools for fostering safe environments and creating avenues for queer & trans youth to speak freely and be themselves

  • Access to digital, physical, and/or local resources which directly benefit queer & trans youth

  • Up-to-date education on the queer & trans lived experience

  • Renewed confidence and deeper understanding of what both individual and institutional LGBTQIA+ allyship look like
